Carley

Carley graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. While in college, she competed in both cross country and track and field. Sports and exercise have always been a huge part of her life, which helped spark her interest in learning about how the body functions specifically through exercise.

She loves to help people reach their goals and make sure they feel great along the way. After college, Carley grew an interest in personal training and attained her personal training certification, and is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT). Carley is from the area as a ROCORI graduate. While in high school, she was in cross country, dance, and track. While always busy with sports, she realized how important it is to take care of her body and prioritize recovery. She always wants to make sure she is doing what is best for her body and loves to help others do the same. In her free time, she loves to spend time with family, play games, visit friends, go on runs, read, and spend time outdoors!

Nate

Nate's been teaching yoga for 18 years now and has done two yoga teacher trainings in India. He taught in South Korea for four years where he taught ESL and now teaches Language Arts at ROCORI. Aside from keeping up a regular yoga practice, he is a disc golf fanatic, nutrition enthusiast, sauna/ice bath user, board game junkie, tennis, volleyball, poetry writing, and meditation.

Current Classes

Strength Circuit with Carley Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:30 am This class is designed to keep you moving! Each station is a different exercise, giving you a total body workout. We will spend a set amount of time at each station (meaning you get to set the pace!) and keep rotating through the stations. A very fun and fast paced strength class, with some cardio sprinkled in! 

Yoga Sculpt with Carley Thursdays at 5 pm This class starts with light yoga to help our bodies warm up and prepare for the workout. We then use light dumbbells paired with dynamic movements to experience a full body workout! Once we complete our workout, we will end class with yoga poses to help us cooldown and unwind.

Seniors with Carley Wednesdays at 12 pm This class is designed for seniors. We will be going through stretching and strengthening movements to make everyone feel great! 

Flow Yoga for All with Nate Saturdays at 8:30 am With all the challenges of this work, we all surely need a way to decompress and keep our minds and bodies in good condition. Yoga is the best way to do that as far as I know! It has been an absolute treasure in my life, and I'd love to share it with you. If you are very inflexible and have never tried yoga, now is a great time to start! The class will challenge everyone according to the amount of challenge they want. Benefits include improved flexibility, posture, blood flow, strength, immune system, joint health, focus, balance, sleep, breathing... the list goes on!
