Hours:
I am a Craniosacral Therapy Practitioner. Our amazing bodies are designed to be at ease. Your body has the inner ability & wisdom to heal. Your body seeks an internal state of steadiness (homeostasis), which is in ease. Craniosacral Therapy (CST) can enhance your body's ability to heal by releasing tissue restrictions and accumulated stress to reclaim your ease.
CST can support whole-body improvement of all systems in your body because of their connection to your central nervous system. Accumulated stress from injury or stored emotional energy can be experienced as pain, tension, inflammation, digestive issues, difficulty sleeping, and limited mobility. CST has been shown to support pain & stress reduction and to enhance your physical, emotional, & mental well-being.
I have a background in physical therapy. I graduated with my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Minnesota in 2010. During my physical therapy education, I was amazed at the wisdom of my mentors’ hands. I became passionate about knowing my own inner wisdom and the power of my well-intentioned touch. I completed Craniosacral Therapy 1 & 2 trainings with Upledger Institute International in 2023. Now I choose to share this tool with you!
As a Craniosacral Therapy Practitioner, I will use a light, hands-on therapeutic touch that invites your central nervous system to calm down and allow your whole body to self-correct, releasing any areas of restrictions to remember your own ease.
I am enthusiastic to share this tool with you and support you as you embody ease!

I am Sheryl Matters, a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist, (Klose Training, 45 hours, VODDER Style), and Certified Lymphedema Therapist, (Academy of Lymphatic Studies, 135 hours, VODDER Style) in Cold Spring, Minnesota, (starting November 1, 2023!). Lymphatic and Lymphedema work are medically based and recognized, which is why I trained alongside Occupational and Physical Therapists and Registered Nurses.
In addition, I have over 200 hours of training in Plastic Surgery Recovery, including awareness of Lipedema, Dercum's Disease, (Kathleen Lisson), and Obesity (Klose Training).
I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavioral Science, from Grace College, 1987, therefore I have awareness and sensitivity to the connection of our mental, emotional, and physical conditions, yet I have a clear understanding of my role as a professional massage therapist and what boundaries to utilize.
In the 1990's, I had my own four children successfully (two were painless) born at home, "on purpose". Even though massage therapy was not an option for me at that time, I pursued the highest degree of health I could attain for the best possible home birth outcomes. Today, I love treating expecting moms to the benefits of massage during pregnancy for the best possible outcome for whatever birth plan is chosen.
